Sabian Cymbals was founded in 1982 by Robert Zildjian. The factory had been producing cymbals under the Zildjian name since 1968 however after a legal battle with his brother Armand, he was given the factory.

The AAX series is one of the most popular in Sabian's range, known for their bright, explosive nature. These cymbals have a very modern, bright sound that delivers in live and in studio environments. These cymbals are often best suited for louder music genres like Rock, Pop and Metal.
