Postage costs depend on the size and weight of the order, and start at £1.99. We do our best to reduce costs when possible, as well as keeping things as environmentally-friendly as we can! Our website automatically calculates shipping costs for our online orders. If you have any questions regarding this, let us know and we will be happy to help.
We make sure to dispatch every order as soon as possible:
- Same Day Dispatch, if placed before 10am.
- Next Day Dispatch, if placed after 10am.
Our couriers take weekends off, so any orders placed before dispatch time on a Friday will leave us the following Monday.
We normally use 48h services, in order to keep postage costs to a minimum, but faster options are available.
Please note that we do our best to denote items on our website that have been previously open and/or displayed in our showroom. Whenever we believe an item doesn't match its online description, we will contact you before posting it to you.
We hold a 14-day no-quibble return guarantee here at Rubix.
We want to make sure that you are picking the right gear for your needs, so our purchases come with a FREE refund guarantee.
Please keep in mind we cannot offer refunds on items that show signs of use and are returned in less than brand-new condition, with all original packaging, therefore THIS IS NOT VALID ON WEARABLES (such as drumsticks, drum heads, etc).
We are unable to accept returns of any custom made items designed to work together as a unique package, such as drums built to a customer’s personal specifications.
Exceptions may only be possible with prior agreement of the vendor, and may be subject to a cancellation and restocking fee of 25% minimum, providing the goods are in original stock condition.
FINANCE & DEPOSITS
We curently offer a Financing option on purchases up to £500.
This is INTEREST-FREE, you have only to pay 25% of the item to order it, with three further 25% fortnightly payments.
We are currently working to offer more extensive financing options, on a wider range of purchase costs - please get in touch to know more.
We also offer deposit options, where you can pop in (whenever legal), call or email and reserve an item in our shop for a 25% minimum deposit. From then on, you have a further 3 weeks to pay your balance to take (or receive) the item(s) home!
GOODS & WARRANTY
All goods and services are sold in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/eu). The purpose of this directive is to ensure that the consumer is given clear and accurate information about the goods and services supplied by the retailer to help give consumers confidence when buying online. Note: Goods and Services sold prior to the 1st June 2014 where sold in accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No.2334).
We cannot warrant the suitability of goods for a particular purpose, and you should check specifications and compatibility with ourselves or manufacturers before ordering. All goods are offered for sale subject to being unsold at time of purchase. In the event of non-availability of goods, We will contact you to arrange alternatives or a refund where applicable. All prices quoted (except for pre-owned items) include VAT at the current rate of 20%. Pre-owned goods are subject to 0% VAT as we operate using the UK VAT Margin scheme. All goods remain the property of Rubix Drums until paid for in full. Prices and manufacturers specifications subject to change without notice. Please note that goods advertised may have been on display in-store and may be re-packaged prior to dispatch.
All goods (except used goods) are supplied with at least One Years Manufacturers Warranty. In the event of any problems simply contact us here, or by phone on 020 8432 6009 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting your receipt number.
PRICES AND PRICE-MATCHING
All prices on our website are shown in GBP and include tax at the UK VAT rate of 20% (where applicable).
While we try our best to stay on top of market changes, and provide you with the best prices we can, at times you may find items considerably cheaper or more expensive than anywhere else. This may happen for a variety of reasons, and if you find a price you are unsure about, please get in touch with us to discuss it.
Regarding Price-Matching, this is something we are always happy to do for you, whenever possible for us, both in-store and online. Once more, contact us in order to discuss this.
Please keep in mind that, while we make every effort to ensure that all prices and descriptions quoted on our website are correct and accurate, we reserve the right to change prices at any moment, refuse an order, and contact you if there's an error or inaccuracy discovered with regards to the advertised price of the good(s) that you are interested in or have ordered.
Once we have delivered the goods to your door, you are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order.
From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.
Information for INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - INCLUDING EU - January 2021
Prices displayed on our website while browsing are in GBP and include tax at the UK VAT rate of 20%,.
When placing an order from outside of the UK, VAT is automatically reduced from the item(s) on checkout, once an international delivery address is added.
From the 1st of January of 2021, this now applies to EU countries too.
- As of 1st January 2021, rather than pay any tax at the point of purchase, VAT will now have to be paid at the point of arrival of goods into your country. The rate of VAT will be that of your country rather than UK VAT (20%).
- If you have any questions or concerns regarding an international order, please get in contact with us, as we are happy to help.
- Please note there is no VAT chargeable on pre-owned goods, however tax will still be added to the cost of the goods at your local rate.
- You will also be responsible for any duty and import fees due upon delivery.
If you are a Customer that has purchased an Item internationally and decides to cancels for any reason an order after an order has been place, any transactions fees associated (e.g Paypal fees) will be deducted from any refunds made and will be credited against any future transactions the Customer Makes.
Prior to purchasing any items above £250 Rubix requires the Customer to contact Rubix Drums direct via email to Info@rubixdrums.com in order to give the Purchaser the accurate financial overview of the Order in question. If Rubix has falsely advised via email Rubix is responsible to cover Fees. However Rubix can not be held accountable for any fees associated if any premature orders have been made with out direct contact prior to the purchase date.

COFFEE & BISCUITS
Here at Rubix we always have FREE coffee, tea, and biscuits for all of our shop, repairs, studio or storage customers.
Courtesy of our amazing bean-to-cup coffee machine (and probably McVities), we aim to create a second home for you here at Rubix!
VISITING US & KEEPING COVID-SAFE IN RUBIX DRUMS
The best and safest way to come see us is to book a visit beforehand.
You can call, email us, message us on Facebook or Instagram, or use the contact form on our website. This way we can guarantee a safe number of people inside the store at any given time. We cannot guarantee you entry otherwise.
Wearing a mask is essential, as well as keeping a safe distance
To help keep us all safe, we're also limiting all visits to 30 minutes per booking. If you'd like to come in for a bit longer than that, let us know and we can arrange things around for you.
We also have a hand sanitising station on entry, so that you (as well as us) can get all of our hands clean and sanitised! If you prefer to wash your hands with water and soap, we can arrange this for you, too
Lastly, we ask that you avoid trying any of the lovely gear we have out on demo on your own, whether it's drum kits, cymbals, sticks, or anything else. We are working hard to sanitise all surfaces frequently, so if you'd like to try some stuff out, simply let us know and we will provide you with a clean pair of sticks or any specific demo stock we may have
