The Zildjian 14” K Custom Hybrid Hi-Hats are a unique and versatile pair of cymbals, designed to blend the best of both traditional and modern sounds. Developed in collaboration with renowned drummer Akira Jimbo, these hi-hats feature a brilliant outer edge and a traditional finish on the inner portion, creating a dynamic mix of bright and dark tones.

The hybrid design allows for sharp, crisp articulation when closed, and a smooth, shimmering wash when played open. The top cymbal is slightly thinner for quick responsiveness, while the heavier bottom cymbal provides a solid, defined "chick" sound. These hi-hats are ideal for drummers who need versatility, offering a range of textures suitable for multiple genres, from jazz to rock.
