Maximum cajon tone. Maximum portability. The Meinl Professional Pickup Cajon Snare is a clever, all-in-one cajon instrument that is played like a standard snare drum. Fitting easily into any standard snare stand, the Pickup Cajon Snare is played like a traditional snare. It features a resonant American White Ash top, with a textured playing surface - ideal for use with the included Meinl Standard Cajon Brushes.

Its woody, well-rounded tone projects beautifully for acoustic performances, but if you need some extra volume, its internal, passive Piezo pickup provides a pure and organic sound, with simple 1/4" output and link jacks built subtly into the side. Separate bass and snare volume knobs allow you to dial in the perfect mix, and with an easy-to-grab snare throw-off switch, a world of mellow cajon timbres are right at your fingertips.
