The Meinl China cymbal is characterized by a soft playing feel, the sandblasted surface and the dark and warm basic sound. The holes in the middle shorten the sustain of the cymbal considerably and additionally produce more attack and precision.

Matt Garstka has been the drummer of the progressive metal band "Animals as Leaders" since 2012 and, thanks to his brilliant style, has caused a sensation in the drummer scene. His Meinl Byzance Equilibrium China in 20" is ideal for striking accents. The surface is sandblasted and holes in the middle shorten the sustain. The China is very thin, which creates a soft playing feeling with a deep sound.
