Modern Engineering with Vintage Character
Sonor’s Teardrop lugs complement the classic look while enhancing resonance from the beechwood shells. The Cross Lamination Tension Free shell construction places each ply at a 90-degree angle, creating perfectly round, tension-free shells for natural vibration. Sonor’s Optimum Shell Measurement system allows drumheads to sit freely, improving resonance and tuning stability.

Shell Design
The Vintage series features nine-ply beechwood shells with a 6mm thickness, producing a warm, focused tone with consistent projection. Rounded bearing edges increase shell-to-head contact, delivering deep resonance with precise tuning control.
