The SONOR SSD 13x5.75 BG SDW 2.0 Benny Greb Signature Snare Drum is the result of an outstanding collaboration between SONOR and world-renowned drummer Benny Greb. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of their original successful partnership, this updated model takes an already exceptional snare drum and makes it even better. As Benny himself puts it, it's not just an update, it's an upgrade.

At its heart is a thin 9-ply beech wood shell with a 5 mm thickness, delivering a versatile, responsive and highly musical sound. The exterior features a beautiful Scandinavian Birch veneer complemented by an elegant Bubinga wood inlay, creating a distinctive and premium appearance.

The drum is fitted with stylish 1950s-inspired Vintage Teardrop Lugs, 2.3 mm Power Hoops and SONOR's advanced Dual Glide Snare Strainer, offering precise control and reliable performance.

One of the standout features is the innovative MonoRail dampening system. Each drum includes two integrated MonoRail dampeners, fitted with Benny's preferred dampening materials: "The Felt" and "The Sheep". These interchangeable dampening pads provide exceptional tonal flexibility, allowing you to move effortlessly between open, funky tones and deeper, fatter sounds with greater control over resonance and sustain.
