Widely regarded as the first superstar drummer, Gene Krupa became inseparable from the Slingerland name throughout his legendary career. Produced in an ultra-limited run of only 200 pieces worldwide, this collectible 14” x 6.5” snare drum pays tribute to Gene’s iconic sound and legacy.

At the heart of the drum is a steam-bent solid North American maple shell, handcrafted by Craviotto at the Music City Workshop and finished with traditional 30-degree rounded bearing edges for exceptional warmth, depth, and resonance.

Vintage-inspired nickel-plated hardware includes the classic 3-Point Strainer for smooth and precise snare adjustment, alongside Nickel-over-Brass Stick Chopper hoops and beautifully engraved Radio King badges. Every detail has been designed to capture the look, feel, and tone of the original era.

Each drum is individually numbered and includes a premium calfskin batter head, custom Radio King hard case, certificate of authenticity signed by DW founder Don Lombardi, and an exclusive Gene Krupa postcard.
