The cast joints between the single pipes are extremely solid and equipped with nylon inlays to prevent metal-to-metal contact and eliminate unwanted vibrations. The rubber feet of the B1030 boom cymbal stand serve the same purpose. The tripod base with double braced legs allows secure positioning on almost every surface.
