Gretsch 'Renown' 6.5" x 14" Vintage Snare Drum with 'Rocket' Lugs - 1950

This stunning Gretsch Renown snare drum from 1950 is a 6.5" x 14" 3 ply shelled snare. The drum have been professionally re-finished by Rubix Drums in a striking Green painted lacquer, with the bearing edges re-cut to it's original round-over, finished with single flanged brass hoops 

The snare features original 'Rocket' lugs (also known as the 'Broadkaster Lug' or 'Modernistic Centre Bracket', #5385 'Renown' strainer and #5386 'towel rack' butt end. 

This snare sounds as good as it looks, really giving you that Gretsch sound, in a stunning looking snare.
