The Evans REMAD Resonant Bass Drum Head, 20'' is a resonant version of the innovative EMAD Batter head. A single-ply 10mil film provides an open and responsive resonance, all with the added benefit of a 4'' microphone port in the lower corner - this also emphasises attack and reduces the rebound you feel in your kick pedal in comparison to a no port hole head. Being part of the EMAD, the REMAD has a foam internal dampening ring, ameliorating resonance issues.
The EMAD edge lining gives you unmatched control over overtones, helping you achieve a more focused, attack-centred and prominent kick drum tone. Combined with the Evans Level 360 Technology, your tuning range is expanded and the head is in consistent contact with the shell, increasing resonance and tuning range.
