Canopus have done a great job of capturing the low, natural tones of a solid shell snare drum without sacrificing durability. They have done this by sculpting the inside of the shell to have natural reinforced rings, much like their RFM Series.
By combining this unique construction and Canopus’ innovative bearing edge techniques they have been able to fully extract the potential of this particular wood/shell combination. This snare has a deep, powerful sound with outstanding projection that will burst through any mix.
