Sonor call this the "Monorail" dampening system, designed purposely to allow the pair of mufflers to be interchanged, offering the potential of many sound experiments. This Snare Drum features one sheepskin dampener and the other a felt dampener, two completely separate tones, all in one Snare Drum!
