The Tama STAR Maple drum kit is the brand's flagship, handcrafted line made in Japan. It features ultra-thin 5-ply, 5mm shells with a unique 2mm solid wood core for incredible warmth, resonance, and articulation. The series is renowned for resonance-focused hardware, including Quick-Lock tom brackets and the Super Resonant Mounting System

• Shell Construction: 5mm maple shells with 5mm Sound Focus Rings (SFR) for projection and a round, warm tone.

• Bearing Edges: Specially rounded bearing edges (3.5 mm from the outer ply) allow for an optimal, natural head fit.

• Hardware: Minimal shell-contact hardware, die-cast hoops on toms, air-cushioned floor tom legs, and "Hold Tight" tension washers that stop rods from loosening.

• Quick-Lock Brackets: Eliminates the need to readjust memory locks when tearing down or setting up your kit. This kit was custom ordered and has seen very little use- it is presented in very good condition with very slight oxidising of some internal/external metal work and new Remo heads.
