The Ajax Forte 4-Piece Drum Kit is an intermediate to high-end drum set from the Ajax family, inspired by the classic Ajax drums of the 1950s.

Finished in a timeless Black Sparkle, this kit combines vintage British styling with versatile modern performance. Its larger bass drum configuration delivers a full, powerful sound, making it an excellent choice for live performance, studio recording, rehearsals and drummers who want plenty of low-end presence.

The kit features 6-ply Beach/Birch shells, combining warmth, resonance, focused attack and clear projection. This versatile shell construction provides a balanced tone that remains musical, responsive and powerful across a wide range of playing styles.

6-Ply Beach/Birch Drum Shells

The Ajax Forte uses a 6-ply Beach/Birch shell construction. Beach contributes warmth and rounded resonance, while Birch adds clarity, attack and projection.

Ajax Forte Drum Kit Sizes

This particular Ajax Forte kit comes in the following four-piece configuration:

• 22" Bass Drum

• 10" Tom

• 12" Tom

• 16" Floor Tom

The 22" bass drum provides a deep, powerful low end with plenty of projection and presence. The 10" and 12" rack toms offer a clear, musical tonal range, while the 16" floor tom adds warmth, depth and low-end authority.

This configuration is ideal for drummers who want a full-sized setup with strong projection and a broad tonal range.

Please note: the kit does not include hardware, apart from the tom holders; all stands, pedals, mounts and hardware for optional add-ons must be purchased separately.

The Ajax Forte can be expanded with the same optional additions:

• Ajax Metasonic Aluminium Snare Drum

• 8" Tom

• 14" Floor Tom

These add-ons provide extra tonal and setup flexibility while maintaining the distinctive Ajax sound and Black Sparkle appearance.

The 8" tom adds a higher voice for melodic playing, while the additional floor tom offers more depth and low-end variation. The Ajax Metasonic Aluminium snare provides a contrasting metallic tone with clear attack and strong projection.
