Rohemas Taktstockmodell Strauss wird aus deutscher Hainbuche direkt aus der Region gefertigt. Der Griff mit einem Durchmesser von 16 Millimetern besteht aus Kork. Der Strauss ist 465 Millimeter lang und damit der längste Taktstock im Sortiment von Rohema.
Zur besseren Sichtbarkeit ist es zudem mit weißem Lack veredelt. Mit einem Gewicht von 12 Gramm ist der „Strauss“ dennoch recht leicht. Mit seinen Spezifikationen eignet er sich sehr gut zum Dirigieren größerer Ensembles, da er gut sichtbar, sehr lang und dennoch vergleichsweise leicht ist.
