Constructed with a 6-ply Beach/Birch shell, this floor tom combines the warmth and rounded resonance of Beach with the focused attack, clarity and projection of Birch. The 16" size produces a deep, full-bodied sound with plenty of sustain, making it ideal for powerful grooves, dramatic fills and lower-pitched tom arrangements.
The Ajax Forte 16" Floor Tom is a natural addition to kits featuring smaller rack toms or a 14" floor tom. It can also be paired with an 18" floor tom to create a wider, more versatile low-end setup, with each drum offering its own distinct pitch and character.
Finished in striking Mardi Gras, this floor tom combines vintage-inspired Ajax styling with a bold and distinctive appearance.
