We worked with Stephan Emig on his Signature stick for quite a while. He was looking for a drumstick with the fine cymbal response of a jazz stick, but with some more wood in hand than with a 5A. The result of this process was his drumstick. A 5A thickness shaft and a thin, slightly rounded tip for a clear sound on hi hat or ride cymbal.

The rebound of this stick model allows stress-free, smooth playing. It is perfect for unplugged and acoustic gigs, jazz, singer-songwriter sessions or just quieter pop or rock gigs. If you turn the stick around, you can definitely play some fat backbeats without destroying it right away.
