The shell is a gorgeous 1960s Slingerland, re-crafted by the folks at VS into a modern day killer beast of an instrument.
Bearing edges are recut with signature VS outer round over for a lovely, warm full-bodied crack. Complimented with single flanged hoops for an open sound with lots of musical overtones.
This drum has the vintage sound coupled with the reliability of a modern snare drum.
