Ah….here we have it. A classic Ludwig set in its original Ringo black oyster pearl finish. What could be better?
We can’t fault these drums, except to say the bass drum hoop inlays might not be original.
We have checked everything else and can’t find any reason to doubt the originality of the wrap on these drums. No badge tampering, and the wrap folding into the plies of the drum at the shells’ join, as it should do.
Well, it looks great. Fantastic. And sounds even better. No matter what pressure Ringo’s patronage put on the compay’s sales, Ludwig still produced drums that sounded great.
And this set has the added bonus of two top toms to add flexibility to the sound you want and the musical situation you can be in and contribute to. It’s the complete deal in that and many other ways, and clearly in a very good condition for its age. Keystone badges, and everything correct.
At this price it wont be sticking around for long, so jump the queue and grab it while you can, and don’t forget, you’ll have Rubix backing all the way once it’s yours.
